The Doubled Up Program Pilot launched in November 2023. The program serves households that have minor children and have been verifiably doubling up or self-paying in a hotel/motel with no current lease in their name at the time of program referral and enrollment.
Doubling up is defined as living with another family or individual for an extended amount of time. Provider agencies and referral partners work together to disseminate housing status and eligibility. Service is prioritized to households with the highest need.
