Dane County Crisis Triage Center Implementation Report - 2021

Dane County Department of Human Services contracted with RI International (RI) in 2021 to provide consultation, assessment, analysis, and recommendations to develop a plan for the implementation of a Crisis Triage Center in Dane County. The report and its 14 recommendations reflect the work RI did to study the existing crisis care continuum in Dane County and complete a comparative analysis of the current crisis response system against best practices. The report recommends an implementation plan for the development of a Crisis Triage Center (CTC). The report also projects the anticipated impact that the CTC will have on the entire crisis response system and suggests the crisis response redesign that will be required to both address this impact and to optimize the system as a whole.
