The Beacon

Day Resource Center for Those Who Are Homeless and Those At-Risk of Becoming Homeless

The Beacon Day Resource Center for those who are homeless.

The Beacon Day Resource Center is located at 615 East Washington Avenue, formerly the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce building. The Beacon is a partnership between Dane County, the City of Madison, the United Way, and Catholic Charities.

This day resource center is a critical part of a larger, ongoing effort to prevent and end homelessness in Dane County. The Beacon offers resources and basic needs to preserve dignity, provide a pathway to permanent housing and other supports for those who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.
