Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA)

Residential Treatment

Any adult resident of Dane County looking for residential treatment for a substance use concern is welcome at this walk-in clinic. Everyone will be evaluated to determine if clinical and funding criteria are met for county-funded residential treatment.

Those who are determined to need residential care but also needs supervised detoxification will be admitted to the Treatment Readiness Center (TRC) for withdrawal management. In most cases, an admission for withdrawal management will begin right after the evaluation, before starting residential treatment. If a person does not need withdrawal management services, an admission to residential treatment may occur that day, depending on the individual circumstances.
