The Rural Senior Group Transportation Program (outside the Madison area)

Group Access Service (Madison, Middleton and Monona)

Description

These agencies provide transportation services to older adults and persons with disabilities. These are scheduled group trips which include destinations such as congregate meal sites (nutrition sites), community/senior centers, and grocery and general shopping. The service is a door-to-door, and is provided in accessible vehicles.

Medical trips are not provided.

General Eligibility

Adults aged 60 and over and younger persons with disabilities who live in their own homes or apartments are eligible.

Out-of-Town Shopping (rural areas only)
$1.50/one-way

No one is denied service because of inability to pay.
