Rural Access Program for Persons with Disabilities

Description

The Rural Access Program for Persons with Disabilities provides rides on the Rural Senior Group Transportation buses. These are scheduled group trips which include destinations such as community/senior centers, and grocery and general shopping. The service is a door-to-door, and is provided in accessible vehicles.

Medical trips are not provided.

General Eligibility

Persons with disabilities who live in their own homes or apartments are eligible.

$0.50/one-way
In-Town Shopping
$1.00/one-way
Out-of-Town Shopping (rural areas only)
$1.50/one-way

No one is denied service because of inability to pay.
